EVENTS: Oktoberfest is coming to town! Win tickets!
Win tickets to Oktoberfest with Port Moody and Co.
Oans, Zwoa, G'Suffa... PROST! Port Moody Oktoberfest is back and we can't wait to be a part of it. Presented by Ledlin Family Wines, the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest returns with authentic beer, bratwurst, and live music, benefitting Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation. We will be there every day, from September 22 to 24, and September 29 to October 1.
No need to head to Germany to get the full Bavarian experience. We went to Port Moody Oktoberfest last year (its inaugural year), and enjoyed all the traditional delights that Oktoberfest offers. Conveniently located at the tennis courts by City Hall, we walked over on the first Saturday evening for a fun, local night. There were so many German gift and food vendors, just like at the real Schottenhamel tent would have - not to mention authentic Paulaner and Hacker Pschorr beer. Traditional music plays all night, along with the Bavarian sing-along chants that you will surely get stuck in your head. Make friends with your table mates and challenge other tables to beat your cup pyramid.
This year, Port Moody and Co. will be in the activity area, where you can try on our gear and see our new collection. Come say hi throughout both weekends!
